Huit-Clos is an audiovisual and systematic exploration of the objects and sounds within a St. Louisian apartment. Essentially, it’s an examination of the mundane objects surrounding us, or an object-based "étude for the apartment." This systematic approach to listening to everyday objects and focusing on their audiovisual potential originated in part from the composer’s natural inclination but was also further reinforced by the presence of a chronic disease that forced necessary isolation.

Same Face is a piece for solo percussionist (drum set and glockenspiel), live audio, and video, in 5 movements. It uses the inherent glitches of audio analysis and pitch detection to generate musical material and real-time video.

November Foxtrot is a multimedia collaboration between New Morse Code and me, developed at Avaloch Farm Music Institute. Its four movements explore language, alphabet, transmission, Morse Code, and other means of communication. Cello and percussion converse with an interactive video application consisting of digital duplicates of New Morse Code and other historical and found footage.

The Four Suburban Seasons are a series of four short videos filmed in front of my house on Wiggins street in Princeton, NJ. They all use big machines such as lawn mower and a snow blower and use a technique of skipping ion the video file to create rhythmic and fun musical patterns.

Big Dada is for percussion quartet and videos of singers, trucks, trains, tennis players, and kittens. It is based on multiple isorhythms along with 708 short videos stolen from Youtube. These videos are treated as an integral instrumental part using the timbres of different singers, trains, trucks, tennis players, and kittens as a visual klangfarbenmelodie.

A "pièce montée" is a French decorative layered wedding cake in an architectural form made of cream puffs, nougat, marzipan and spun sugar.
Literally, it means "assembled piece". The adjective "montée" refers to an upward direction.
This piece is in two sections and contains elements of simple improvisation.

An Open Cage uses excerpts from an archival lecture of Diary: How to improve the world (You will only make matters worse) by John Cage. This material was provided courtesy of Laura Kuhn and the John Cage Trust.

Baligh Hamdi was an Egyptian composer who wrote many of Egypt's most fantastic songs. Hommage à Baligh Hamdi is in three parts and requires the 2 singers to remain seated for the first half while holding a white handkerchief, mimicking Oum Kalthoum's stage presence.

Rose21 is an experimental piece in 2 parts exploring the idea of phase invented by Steve Reich. Each of the four instruments group has its own tempo. It has to be played with four phasing click tracks sent from a Max patch.
The instrumentation of this piece is open, i.e. can be played by any instrument as long as they can play the notes. The recorded version presented here is for 8 alto saxophones and 4 double basses.
